We will gather from 4:30 - 5 PM, & the service will begin promptly at 5 PM. Suggested donation - $10. None are turned away for lack of funds.
The liturgy will be “The Tree of Life”, Oracle of the Goddess Frigga. We celebrate Modranacht, The Night of the Mothers, from ancient times. Music, drumming, and discussion will follow, along with refreshments.
After the liturgy, there will be a brief discussion of an Ursa Major
stellar rite from the Greek Magical Papyri (handouts to take home),
reflect on the Celtic Midwinter spirits Cailleach, Holly King, Arthur,
Bear, Raven; why reindeer are connected with the Winter Solstice, and
conclude with a Norse prayer candlelight ceremony (handouts &
candles). Then there will be music, feasting, celebration, and
fellowship - Bring your musical instruments: flute, sistrum, guitar, and drum!
Please bring something to share for the Love Feast following the liturgy. Donations are welcome to help pay the rent!

Every year, Olivia would
offer a guided journey in the main temple at Isis Oasis on Friday evening to
launch the opening activities for the FOI Convocation. I (Linda Iles) took
notes, and Olivia and I would go over them afterward at the Nesu House. This
journey was transcribed from notes taken in October, 2009.

In honor of the first anniversary of the passing of Olivia Robertson, on November 14. Please join us in honoring her life and work. Last year members participated in a simple rite “Say My Name That I May Live”. This rite was conceived by the late Laura Janesdaughter. This year, we revive the ritual with a new twist.
In your daily devotions: Light a candle on your altar and then sound a bell one ring. (You can sound a sistrum, singing bowl or gong if you don’t have a bell) accompanied by “I say your name and know you live, Olivia Robertson. Olivia, Isis risen.”
The candle may be flanked on either side with mirrors to produce a “mirror magic” Olivia discovered in the temple. In this way, the flame will be “multiplied in both directions, theoretically to infinity” to form “a reflective fractal…” So magically the flame dedicated to Olivia can shine outward into infinity.
Olivia wrote: “The mirrors represent the moon - a candle, the sun joined as if in an eclipse. We can place crystals, images of Deities, food, drink - anything that requires multiplication. But how to form our rainbow lines of communication with static objects? Simple. The smoke of incense coils and wreathes itself in unending spirals forming a spiritual network from a Goddess altar to altars around the world, and with spiritual spheres.”
Many members have asked, “What can I do?”
There is a simple thing every FOI member can perform each day: saying
the FOI Daily Prayer. Olivia used this prayer twice daily in the Temple
of Isis at Clonegal Castle. She suggested attunement times by members at some point between 6:30 – 8:30 morning and evening in their own time zone.
“When we attune ourselves beyond our physical sense at dawn and dusk,
we are learning to commune with the beautiful spheres of the Goddesses
and Gods. By inducing a serene and kindly mind, wishing good to all, we
receive transmissions from beyond our own Egos. Protected by an aura of
Isian Light, we commune with each other, Spirit Guides, angels, and
above all, ISIS of 10,000 Goddesses and Their Consorts. There is a
cosmos out there awaiting us.” ~ Olivia Robertson
Fellowship of Isis Daily Prayer
“Holy Goddess Isis, Mother of All Beings, come to our hearts. Grant us
Thy Children, Love and Joy, Wisdom and Abundance. We offer Thee our
loving care for all who are born of Thee.” ~ by Olivia Robertson
We have been blessed in Ireland with a wonderful continuation of warm
daytime temperatures this year. At night however the temperature drops
heralding all too soon the end of tender
beans in the garden and the last of an abundance of blackberries and
other fruits. But Saturday dawned bright and clear and we had quite a
large gathering of members and their friends to our Festival at
Clonegal. Many events take place at the Castle these days and a wedding
was taking place the same afternoon, and with the fine weather, the
Bridal Party had requested that they might take their vows actually in
the old Abbey, which was a lovely idea and we all wished them every joy.
So we adjusted our usual plans to leave them in peace and
processed down to the Druid’s Grove in the Wilderness to spend a
beautiful peaceful time together in this sacred place which the
Co-Founders dedicated to the Druid Clan of Dana. There we invoked Her
Presence and that of Tara and Persephone, that we might enter the Temple
of Isis in purity of heart and thankfulness that provision had been
made for us all in the Fellowship to connect in spirit with these
special places and perhaps even visit one day.
At Brigid’s Well
of Truth we remembered Olivia’s vision of ‘light energy’ coming
directly into it from the heavens, providing healing of the spirit
through its waters.* She maintained that it was this energy which
enabled her and her brother Lawrence to bring forth and encourage a love
for the Goddess again in our age. They researched and reconnected with
Her manifestations throughout the ages, and established that the
essential universal truths have always been remarkably similar. They
sought to re-establish and acknowledge the innate equality and unity of
Goddess and God, as did Isis and Osiris, each fulfilling their divine
destiny. As a visionary, Olivia tuned into so many of the famous
manifestations of the Goddess and received their wisdom for our time.
She preserved these Oracles at the heart of the Liturgy, which she
created to illuminate our many and diverse spiritual paths through life.
After all had been Blessed with sacred water from the Well, we were
introduced to three of the priestesses newly in training with our Lyceum
of the Three Mothers, and were delighted to meet them and wish them
every success and deep fulfilment as they dedicate their lives to the
service of the Goddess.
Following this we received a powerful
Oracle from the Goddess Danu who reminded us that we can all do
something to further a more general awakening to the need to treat our
Great Mother, the ground beneath our feet, with greater respect. To
protect her from the ravages of short-sighted, severely damaging
attacks, offering limited benefits for the few, by acting together in
the interests of everyone - She requires our hands and hearts and
We had all been saddened to hear of the recent death
after a long illness of a long-term member of the priesthood here, and
were glad to welcome members of her close family and friends to join us
in remembrance of her gentle, quiet, wise spirit. This was quite a
homecoming in a sense for one or two younger members as they had
actually been blessed by Olivia as babies and had travelled quite a way
to be with us from West Cork.
A feature of the Festivals that
have taken place at Foundation Centre since Olivia’s passing has been
the participation of everyone in the priesthood in the planning process,
in order to provide a changing and interesting seasonal content to the
ceremonies. This time we were taken on a ‘magical journey’ by one of our
Circle members who is a wonderful story teller. We also had a quite
spectacular ‘mystery play’ central to which was the telling of the high
drama around the birth of Athena (“She who comes”) as told by the
Goddess Metis (“She who was of all beings the most knowing”) But the
centre piece of our play was Athena Herself, resplendent with helmet,
sword, shield and golden staff or ray, having sprung fully grown from
the head of Zeus, who to protect himself had somehow swallowed pregnant
mother and baby so that she might not be born! After all this
excitement our time was nearly up, so having given thanks and prayed for
the Blessings of the Mother on all in need, we repaired to enjoy the
welcome tea which had been prepared for us in the village, and many of
us stayed on there, quite a while, to enjoy each other’s company and get
to know those who had joined us for the first time.

* You may read Olivia’s full account which she sent whilst in hospital
in June 2013 to the websites, referring to the importance of these
sacred places for us all to connect with in spirit if we so wish. The
Manifesto of the Fellowship expresses the essential universal truths
expressed over the ages for spiritual seekers of their time by many
Goddesses and Gods.

Note from Kasey Conder: "It is an honor to have the event in my home town. I want to make this accommodating for Isians world-wide to commence to Salt Lake City to attend. The last time the Parliament of World Religions was in the United States was in Chicago with Lady Olivia presiding. Olivia and others can attest what a truly remarkable event it is to attend. This will be truly memorable and it is my hope to make it as accommodating as imaginable. It will truly be an honor, to witness many great spiritual leaders, with a great selection of Fellowship of Isis members present to honor the Goddess. We truly will have a vast and great selection of FOI Members representing our organization and it would be great if we could have FOI Members from every inhabitable continent on the globe attend. Blessings of Isis of Fellowship! Olivia considered Salt Lake City a sacred city and had the apparition of the Goddess Uta-Ha of the Wasatch Mountains while she was here."

It is now 9 months since Olivia's
passing, time which seems to have flown by as we deal with her loss. A
time, also, when we come to truly understand the vast legacy she left
behind, a legacy which continues to inspire and enliven us all on our
vocational paths! In 2016 the Fellowship of Isis will celebrate its 40th
anniversary, a profound vision of love, community and spiritual
devotion to the Divine Feminine which Olivia and Lawrence created at the
Vernal Equinox in 1976. As the Fellowship grows, with possibly as many
as 30,000 members, we come to realise the expansiveness of that vision!
The huge quantity of work that Olivia and Lawrence put into the FOI, is
only now being realised as we take up the mantle and we thank the Gods
for the gift that they both gave to us!
As part of the upcoming celebrations, we, at the Foundation Centre
on the borders of counties Carlow and Wexford, felt that it would be
wonderful to have a very clear sense of the extent of the membership and
the Iseums, Lyceums, Priories and Groves and other groups in existence.
We have discussed the possiblity of creating a world map with markings
showing the location of all groups being run throughout the world. There
is so much marvelous work being done throughout the Fellowship that it
would be a lovely thing to honour it!
To that end, we are asking all Iseums, Lyceums, Priories and Groves,
and other groups within the Fellowship, to renew contact with the
Foundation Centre so that we do not, in error, leave anyone out! Perhaps
you could also explain a little about the groups you run so that the
members of the Fellowship come to know more about you.
We would ask that groups contact us by Samhain 2015 (October 31st)
so that we can begin to create the map and have it ready in time for the

LUGHNASAD FESTIVAL 26th July 2014,
at FOUNDATION CENTRE
Presented by Members of the Priesthood
& Circle of Brigid
A lovely programme had been planned and we
were delighted to welcome
Cressida Pryor, the Fellowship’s Steward to
be with us again.
We also had some special visitors from Sweden who brought
great joy to the occasion as they had asked a member of the priesthood to
celebrate a hand-fasting ceremony for them in the Temple before the main
ceremony, which I was privileged to witness and found very moving.
The weather which had been extremely hot and humid during
the week was cool and inviting and though showers had been forecast, we were
able to sing and process the familiar route beneath the famous Yew Walk, on down
through the grounds invoking first Dana in the Druid’s Grove, then Tara in Her
Abbey, followed by an invocation by her priestess of Persephone - who guards
the Garden Gate to the Temple, but now looks out over the gardens from her tall
and secure plinth from inside her shrine.
Perhaps she is determined to stay in our hearts with us throughout the
whole year from now on!
Entering the Temple the atmosphere was most beautiful due
to the dedicated work of members of the priesthood who have loved giving it
care over these past months. We are committed to continue with this work which
will offer welcome and blessing to all who come to Huntington to visit it
during the year and enjoy the tours of the Castle and grounds, which are offered
in both summer and winter months now.

Invocations to Deity and the Blessings of the Goddess
were given to all who were gathered at Brigid’s Well; and there was a natural focus
upon the riches of the ripening time of Lughnasad in this hemisphere. It was good to see some of our Irish members
back home for a brief visit from abroad or from important ventures elsewhere in
A heart-rending Oracle from the Goddess Isis was given in
Her Temple by her priestess. “You are
all Gods” she cried and begged us to be aware of where thinking ill of others
in our daily lives can lead. It is a
source of great sorrow to her that so many of her children’s lives, both young
and old, are being destroyed in the world at this time. She asked that we step back and realise that
all conflict is essentially illusion and has no meaning from where she stands,
and that peace is really possible when it starts in our own hearts.
This was quite a wake-up call, and it was clearly true,
and during a most beautiful Journey offered by David de Roeck to the sounds of
an enchanting oriental piece of music, we all entered a most peaceful and rich
inner world and realised how blessed we were to be able to experience it in such
a protective and supportive atmosphere together.
Amongst other gentle and delightful offerings was an
Eastern Chant in which those who knew it could join, and Monica and Anna read
us some of their beautiful and evocative poetry. This led us to the Mystery
Play as it was also the time of Opet, celebrated in the Ancient Egyptian
calendar by the Pharaoh and his Queen accompanying the statue of the Sun God in
a barge on the Nile to Karnak and back to ensure a good harvest. This was played out under the direction of
Anna by Luke and Alison, and was very much enjoyed by all.
I had been in touch with Linda Iles to send our
condolences to the Circle of Isis on the loss of their much loved Arch-Priestess
Loreon Vigne of Isis Oasis in California on July 17th; and she sent me
a delightful little poem by Loreon, which plays on the name of Isis with a
great sense of fun. So I took the
liberty of sharing it. We are glad to
hear that our sister centre, Isis Oasis, will continue to serve their community
and indeed the whole region as both Loreon had hoped for the future, with the
blessing and involvement of her family in the inspiring programme of events
which are held there on a regular basis.
After the usual announcements, thanks were given to
Deity, and healing/counselling sessions offered by the priesthood to those who
wished to receive them, and the company repaired as usual to the newly-refurbished
Osborne’s in the Village for our customary spread to enjoy each other’s company
and rest awhile before setting off home.
A Tribute to Loreon Vigne, Archpriestess of the Fellowship of Isis
Founder, Temple of Isis in Geyserville, California
June 8, 1932 - July 15, 2014
We mourn the passing of Loreon Vigne, Archpriestess and founder of the Temple of Isis in Geyserville. She was able to loving serve the Goddess up until the time she crossed over the rainbow bridge. A beautiful tribute to Loreon has been uploaded to Fellowship of Isis Central. Dearest Loreon, the realization of your passing is sinking in and we are filled with grief, yet we also have hope, in that now after decades of service to the Goddess, you truly wear Isis Wings and are surrounded by the protective arms of the Goddess you loved so dearly and served as Priestess:
MIDSUMMER SOLSTICE FESTIVAL – 21st June, 2014 AT FOUNDATION CENTRE
Presented by Members of the Priesthood and the Circle of Brigid
Our Coordinator, Cait presided throughout a delightful programme of events.
The Sun had blazed down on Ireland for several days as a large gathering of members met with our guests and enjoyed some refreshments in the Café before the Solstice Celebrations began. The Castle arranges many events for visitors and there were plants for sale and tables outside to enjoy the sunshine. Nature’s incredible energy seemed to have culminated in a display of glorious abundance in the beautifully kept grounds. Indeed, a cascade of enchanting bluish-lilac roses tumbled down the wall beside the gate into the garden and begged us to stop and smell its gentle perfume as the happy and relaxed company finally set off in Procession.
It is the custom to sing our way in Procession down to Dana’s sacred Grove to invoke Her presence, then up to the Goddess Tara’s home in the Ancient Abbey; and yet, there was a sense of deep stillness behind it all at this balancing point of the year, and we were glad to invoke not only the Goddesses but also Lady Olivia who so loved these places. Her presence is still very much with us it seems from the reports of so many from far and wide who have experienced her continuing support in their lives, attesting to her words that we shall find, to our delight, having crossed over the barrier of death, that in truth we can do far more from there to help those we love.
Finally approaching Persephone’s Gate, Her presence was invoked to prepare us to enter.
The Temple of Isis awaited, its energy wonderfully renewed by the dedication of our members who have given generously of their time and devotion over the past few months to undertake a regular programme of step by step cleaning, replenishing and honouring the sacred energies so long cared for by Lady Olivia. This work will provide a foundation from which to continue her work into The New Aeon which she cared so passionately about. So many thanks to everyone who has taken part so far. We shall all have a chance to contribute in this way in support of Pamela, Olivia’s Great Niece who has worked tirelessly throughout. We cannot thank her enough.
Entrance to Chapel of the Well
At the Well we all gathered to invoke Deity and bestow the customary individual blessings from the Goddess. We were delighted to welcome two of our much-loved senior Priestesses who have not been able to come down for a while. This was followed by a powerful Oracle from the Un-Named One through Her Priestess. Though spoken in quiet tones there could be no doubting that we are each asked to listen for and respond to Her Voice in our everyday life, to stand for protecting our Planet and everything on it in justice for all, not just the fortunate few.
We were then taken on an Inner walk in Nature by Eimear, passing on through a mist ‘between the worlds’ into a wooded clearing at the centre of which was a mighty Oak, and many wonders transpired and were reported later. It was good to hear new voices speaking of their sacred experience in a supportive space. Next we all joined in a lively Goddess chant led by Deirdre, and accompanied by sacred rattle. This was thoroughly enjoyed by all and provided an excellent atmosphere for our Solstice Mystery Play presented by Marian, “The Enlivening Rite of Aine and Dagdha” and enacted by her small band of players in the following roles:
Ceridwen and Her Cauldron,
The Irish Goddess Aine – As Summer Fairy Queen,
The Irish God known as the Dagdha Mor; together with their two youthful assistants who volunteered their services on the day;
The Summer Princess; the Hawk Prince her protector.
Inspired by Ceridwen, the Goddess and God spoke on behalf of the true nature of ‘Femininity and Masculinity’ acting in harmony and cooperation. A beeswax candle was lighted and our young Summer Princess and Hawk Prince processed with it around the Temple in and amongst the assembled company before returning to share sweets with all to the lively strains of an Irish Jig which ended in general merriment.
Proceedings drew to a close with the usual announcements of upcoming events, and included the success of one of our members at the recent Irish Council elections which she has been working towards for some time. Olivia knew of her work and had supported her wholeheartedly, as indeed she always did with each and every one of us who had set our hearts on a path of service to our communities in whatever way we felt drawn.
Short healing sessions were offered as is customary to those who wished to receive them.
As ever it was a wonderful gathering at Foundation Centre to continue to celebrate the 8 Annual Festivals. We all thoroughly enjoyed meeting up for tea afterwards and catching up in excellent company.
This is a
community -driven event with lectures and workshops on practical application of
skills, knowledge and high magic within the Egyptian Pantheon of

hosting the Geyserville Chamber of Commerce Summer BBQ on Tuesday evening June
We are expecting about
300 people, many of whom have not been here since we hosted the Chamber dinners
over 20 years ago. We will have a band playing on the deck, a large BBQ
truck offering food and 10 wineries pouring wine in the Pavilion. We are hoping
to have a belly dancing performance as well to dazzle the locals.
has a new Ankh Throne!
Just as you
get off the freeway, there is a sculpture park, which now includes a new
earthen cob Ankh Throne, which is made from a straw bale and pallets filled
with plastic bottles, covered in Earth. Students from Geyserville High
school helped make and set the adobe bricks used for the steps of the
throne. The Throne will be on display until next May, and possibly
beyond. Permission has been given as well for a new earthen bus stop to
be built right outside Isis Oasis which will happen soon.
Isis Oasis will be hosting a week long
summer camp focused on natural building for children ages 9-12. The camp will
be lead by Miguel, aka "Sir Cobalot" and other guest
instructors. Children can come for one day, or stay all week. To

BELTAINE FESTIVAL 3rd May, 2014 AT
Presented by Members of the Priesthood
& the Circle of Brigid
The Star of the Dayat Clonegal was undoubtedly Nature
Herself, bursting forth in absolutely glory and astonishing growth since
our last gathering for the Vernal Equinox this year, and it was impossible not
to experience the raising of our spirits at this wonderful time of year. After
meeting and greetingin the Castle
Tea Rooms we gathered in the Theatre which adjoins them. This has been freshly decorated and provides
a wonderful and unusual venue for year-round events at the Castle, which we
very much appreciate being able to use for Festivals.
Marian then commenced
proceedings with a beautiful energy raising exercise based on Ra and His connection to the Land, so
that we might go forth in Processionchanting
and remembering the Egyptian Traditional understanding that all of Nature, together
with all Beings expresses the innate presence of both God and Goddess within All its manifestations. This provided a lovely introduction to our Procession to the Grove of the Druid Clan
of Dana, led by Eimear and David
down through the Orchard and on to the Yew Walk and paths through the Wilderness
where on every side tall fresh green growth and flowers crowded alongside us as
David opened the
Portal to the Grove between two of the great Redwoods which form the magnificent
Grove of these incredibly tall trees, which were planted only in the early 1900’s,
but create a cathedral-like energy within which to invoke the Goddess Dana. We are blessed to have access to it. We then made our way onwards for Invocations first
at the Abbey, home of the Noble Order of
Tara, and then at Persephone’s
Gateway to the Temple of Isis, and
then beside Brigid’s Well of Truth followed
by individual Blessings to all given by the Priesthood. Maìre presided over the
Ceremonies at the High Altar and, we had a wise and deep Oracle from the Goddess Danu
through her Priestess, Eimear.
Luke took us on
a Journey throughthe Land & the Sacred Fires traditional
at this time, and we heard a fine Beltaine
poem created by Sarah. Then came one of our popular Mystery Plays! This time it celebrated the Festival of
the Sacred Marriage, the mystery of the fertile land being brought to life
again by the return of the potency of the Sun.
The fiery interchange between the
God & Goddess was ably represented by Deirdre and David and sparks flew as it became clear that not only
was there was much wisdom in what they both had to say, but no quarter was
given on the important matter of equality
and respect, to be both given and received!
All this was received with great delight as ever
in the Temple where Olivia always made us laugh!
After thanks were given to Deity for their undoubted
presence throughout, short healings were given to those who requested them, and
everyone repaired to Osborne’s in the Village for a well deserved home-made
tea, and plenty of enjoyable conversation with new and old friends. I will conclude with a short poem of my own
which I also gave at the end of the ceremony in honour of the incredible
abundance of so many spring flowers this year after the terrible earlier rains
crumpled petticoats though faded
Still suffuse my senses
with their silken perfume.
